Learn how to make your own delicious sausage in Cal Poly’s new J and G Lau Family Meat Processing Center, home to state-of-the-art facilities for product development. In this workshop, participants will work with resident managers to learn the history and art of making sausage from fresh ingredients – some of which are grown right on campus. Participants will learn how to make a variety of sausages, be given tips on how to create their own recipes and will leave the workshop knowing how to safely prepare sausage at home.
