Nearly 50 million records of Californians have been breached during the past 4 years, according to the Attorney General in the 2016 California Data Breach Report. Most of the exploited vulnerabilities that enabled these breaches were compromised more than a year after the solution to patch the vulnerability was publicly available. Through a combination of lecture and hands-on exercises, this class aims to instruct students in:
  • Cybersecurity Basics
  • The Evolving Threat
  • Cybersecurity Best Practices
  • The Right Tools and Tactics
It is no longer a question of IF your organization will experience a cyberattack, but WHEN.   Please join Cal Poly and the California Cybersecurity Training Complex for this very important training course for executives, technologists, administrators, managers, and decision makers.
