Class 1: Game Design

In this full-day of beginning coding, kid hackers will be in a college computer lab under the direction of skilled Computer Science teachers and student assistants. Each student will each have their own station to learn new skills using tools and curriculum developed at Google and MIT. In this Game Design class, students learn basic programming concepts as they build different types of video games. No previous programming or video game experience is necessary and students are encouraged to continue their projects at home after the class. Ages 9 - 13 (Grades 3 - 7)
