The course traces the surprising origins of Christianity in America from the Reformation to the fire and brimstone preaching of the 19th century to the rise of contemporary Evangelicals.  From bold predictions of the end of the world to Hippy drug culture and contemporary megachurches, you will come to appreciate the uniquely American breed of Christian culture that has arisen.
